About Us
Under the direction of the Gamma Upsilon Sigma Alumnae Chapter, the Northeastern Regional Undergraduate Chapter at Wingate University completed its inaugural induction class on April 23, 2017. Soror T'Kayhlia Cornish, a sophomore Biology/Pre-Med major, became the first undergraduate member of the sorority on Wingate University's campus.
The Iconic Tau Chi chapter became an officially chartered chapter on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the 77th Northeastern Regional Conference. Seven trailblazing women established and executed a vision to increase and improve the cultural climate at Wingate University by bringing forth a dynamic, service-oriented sisterhood like no other.
The charter members of Tau Chi are T'Kayhlia "TK" Cornish, Chloe Galloway, Ania Gilbert, Hannah Hinson, Dariyhn Lee, Taylor Patterson, and Taylor Sligh.
As we continue to build sustainability of the chapter on this prestigious campus, we look forward to meeting more of the women of Wingate and educating them on our phenomenal sisterhood!
